Yes you can have a connection even if you live in a rented house. However, for this the landlord, the owner of the house will have to make an application or if you want to apply for it you will have to get a No Objection Certificate from the owner for the same.

In case of any leakage, you must inform the office of the Company without any further delay. An authorized technician will come and check the connection and pipeline and rectify any leakage or issues with the connection. You have to inform the local/city station emergency phone number for immediate assistance.
